Everybody will experience stress, anxiety and sorrow at one point. All research shows that during exercise our brain releases endorphins, the so-called “happy hormones” that positively boost our mood and thus can ease anxiety and depression. Regular exercise also has many psychological benefits, like boosting our self-confidence by making us feel better with our body and appearance.

Using exercise as medicine helps take the mind off worrying. Doing some form of exercise like going to the gym, cycling or even taking a stroll (click here for our article Winter stroll in beautiful Athalassa Park) can lift the mood and break the cycle of negative thoughts.
