Summer is on, heatwave is ON and if you are planning a getaway to Paphos we strongly recommend adding on your list the exotic Kritou Terra Waterfalls (also known as Kremmiotis Waterfalls); one of the most stunning hidden green gems we have ever seen on the island!

 The trail en route to the first waterfall, is a 1km easy walk from the parking area amongst tall endemic trees and bushes. Once you reach your first destination, you’ll need to carefully crawl through a small cave, which can be a bit daunting (claustrophobics you have been warned!) but oh so worth your while! At the end of this small earthly tunnel, lies an even more majestic waterfall that makes you wonder if you are in Cyprus or Bali! A lush greenery of natural paradise 🙂

TOP TIPS

  • Do wear  appropriate footwear to make the walk more enjoyable even though all of the Margo Motivates crew did it in flip flops without a sweat. 
  • Do wear a swimsuit or something waterproof because you WILL get wet.
  • Do take with you a water bottle for hydration and put your phone in a ziploc bag for that selfie.
  • Be respectful to mother nature and leave 0 waste.
